cLoWn PaRtY

JAke & I went to a clown themed birthday party this week.
MiMi the clown made a big impression on Jake, He is still talking about her :O)
She put on a show, she painted the kids faces (Jake got a snake), and then she made balloon animals (anyone who knows JAke knows HE LOVES BALLOONS).

Universal studios

Thanks to Doris & Carl we have been enjoying a few days of Universal Studios
Jake LOVES Seuss Landing
His first ride we went on was One Fish Two Fish.. WE GOT SOAKED
Then we went on the carousel. We tried to get on the high in the sky train ride

but Jake was too short so the nect day we put him in his sneakers and added an extra pair of socks rolled up in the heel for some lift :O)
It was so much fun we just rode it over & Over Jake was amazed.

Sorry that it is taking so long to update the website
I just cannot get into it this time around
Maybe because my new pictures of Jake are always of him running away
Maybe it is because I am tired at the end of the day after casing a toddler.
I dunno
but I do know I will get it done someday.
Until then here is Jake doing some of his animal sounds
(about two months ago, he knows more now)

Today Jake sat in front of Mag petting him while he was sleeping.
Jake reminds us if Magnus is outside. They are great friends.

Swim like a fish

Jake has started taking swimming lessons
He is doing very good
He cries alot at the lessons
but he shows alot of progress when he swims at home with me>

On this day .....

Just three short years ago today Eric & I were married.
So much has happened since then it is hard to believe
We had a once in a lifetime vacation to Europe
Our Home was destroyed & rebuilt
Jacob was born & transformed a couple into a family.

He is growing up so quickly

Hard to believe that he is already 1.5 years old,

February 24th our friends Paul & Jackie of Rochester NY welcomed a tiny new member into their family. They were blessed with a little boy. Welcome to our world Boden Vincent your parents have been anxiously awaiting your arrival. We have only seen one picture so far & HE IS A BEAUTIFUL BABY BOY.

POWER STRUGGLE MOMMY VS TODDLER

Sure .. to the outside world he appears all sweet an innocent but here is a peak of what happens behind closed doors (err, I mean in front of closed doors, whatever)
A few times a day you can find Jake & I having it out about going into the hall closet. He desperately needs to be in there at least once an hour & he despises anyone who gets in his way (see the look in his eye as I guard the door).

Buh-Buwl

Bubbles are a big thing around the Hudson residence lately.
It is the first thing Mister Jake has asked for by name so Mommy & Daddy are willing to blow them anytime he asks because it is so freakin' cute. He says Buh-Buwl. We are so proud.

Makes our heart smile a little everytime :O)

Enjoy your luxury bathroom

To all of you who do not have toddlers living in your home.
There are a few things you may be taking for granted in your bathroom:
1. The ability to have toilet paper on the roller
2. being able to lift the lid without having to check for floating objects (shoes, blocks,etc) before you do your business.
3. Trash cans on the floor
4. showering without an audience
5. having your drawers filled with something other than toys or one of these....

Battle of the Brooms

Jake is really starting to get into "sweeping"
it makes cleaning so much fun :O)
He is obsessed. Our house is filled with screams

if I dare to sweep & don't allow him have the dustpan or broom at least once during the session. I am planning on buying him his own Jake sized broom so that we can clean side by side.

That is just a part of the fun that goes on in our house daily. Ahhhh you have not lived until you live with a toddler.
